The Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) is a Trust-wide multi-professional group serving a population of approximately 800,000 living predominantly in North Staffs, Stoke-On-Trent and South Staffs.<\/p>\n

The team meet weekly and all contribute towards planning care. The Head and Neck Clinic is held each Monday morning in the ENT Department on the Ground Floor of the Main Building. The Thyroid clinic is held on Thursday mornings.\u00a0 These clinics are where the team will discuss and plan treatment options, where patients will be reviewed and monitored.<\/p>\n

Our staff understand the complex emotions and pressures that come with a cancer diagnoses and the subsequent treatment. The Trust takes every measure possible to ensure you are made as comfortable as possible during your treatment.<\/p>\n

If you have just been diagnosed with a head \/ neck \/ thyroid cancer it’s hard to take everything in, and names can be particularly hard to remember.<\/p>\n
