I’m sure Raphael would completely support my posting this link to his amazing, positive diary. He was diagnosed in August 2003 with advanced Tonsil Cancer and decided to record his experiences in the form of an online diary or blog. His last diary entry was December 2012 – 9 years after diagnosis, after which he decided to stop posting. I pinched the image below from his diary – it says it all.

The blog doesn’t pull any punches, but if you want an honest account I haven’t seen better.

A big thank you to Alice Feather for making and donating this fantastic quilt! Headcases members and Royal British Legion members bought a total of £220.00 worth of raffle tickets. The quilt was won by Alan Wooton of the Legion Committee with Ticket number 58. The Legion generously offered us their half of the proceeds, which will be put to good use to help head and neck patients in the future.
