Saracen’s Fun Day

A damp start to Saturday didn’t deter the folks of Meir, who turned out to enjoy a fun day out at this popular community pub. Three craft stalls, bingo, play your cards right and a raffle raised £417 for Headcases. Thanks to Emma and Paul for hosting us and selling tickets.  Paul for cooking up some great hot-dogs and Chrissie for helping sell many tickets.

We had a great selection of prizes given to us, so thanks to all who brought them in.

It was good to build on our relationship with the Saracen’s and we’re looking forward to future events in the New Year. In the meantime, don’t forget Headcases meet at the pub on first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm.
